Shipping & Delivery

Classic Engraving Ltd. trading as Classic Stationers is a Canadian company and ships to addresses in Canada and internationally. Your order will be shipped by Canada Post according to the service options you choose. Shipping options and charges are indicated during the checkout process.
Charges are determined by Canada Post and are based on size and weight. Free shipping is available within Canada for orders above CAD 350.00 with Regular Canada Post delivery. Orders can take from two to seven business days to process. Shipping time is one to seven days depending on your location and the Canada Post service chosen. We do not currently deliver on weekends or holidays.

If you require RUSH Service or if you require delivery by a given date please call 1-250-388-9541 to inquire before ordering.

We will endeavor to ensure that the products are delivered to the address specified by you by any delivery date estimated by us. However, we cannot guarantee that products will be delivered by the estimated delivery date. You agree that we shall not be liable to you for any losses, damages or charges incurred by you because of late delivery of the products. Upon signature for the receipt of the products at the address specified in your delivery instructions, the risk of damage to the goods shall pass to you.

Though our shipping module based on Canada Post Service calculates shipping costs to most international destinations, customers outside Canada and the US are recommended to contact us via phone, fax or e-mail before placing an order for shipping and handling charges.

All purchases from this website are made pursuant to a shipment contract. As a result, risk of loss and title of the purchased items pass to you upon delivery of the items to the carrier. It is your responsibility for filing any claims with carriers for damaged and/or lost shipments.

Please note: On orders shipped to destinations outside Canada, duties and taxes, if imposed on your order are due at the time of delivery. These charges are not calculated during checkout and are not collected by Classic Stationers. Please consult your local customs office for more information and details about duties and taxes. The customer is responsible for all duties and taxes on their order. Refused orders will be subject to a 15% restocking fee for items, plus return shipping to Classic Stationers.

Privacy, Security & Liability

The personal information that you give us when ordering products from us is kept confidential by Classicstationers.com. We do not sell, trade, or lease our customer files, mailing or email lists. We do send an occasional newsletter with special offers and news, but you always have the option to unsubscribe from our mailing list directly from the email. You have full control of your information, and your information can be removed from our data base at anytime upon your request.

We work to protect the security of your information during transmission by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts information you input. We reveal only the last four digits of your credit card numbers when confirming an order. Of course, we transmit the entire credit card number to the appropriate credit card company during order processing. When you submit your personal financial information you will see a yellow lock or an unbroken key (depending upon your browser) in the lower left-hand corner of your browser and when you are in the secured area of the site the first characters of the address line will change from "http" to "https".

It is important for you to protect against unauthorized access to your password and to your computer. Classicstationers.com will never e-mail or call you and ask you disclose or verify your Classicstationers.com password, credit card, or banking account number.

However, due to the nature of the Internet Classic Stationers do not assume any responsibility, and shall not be liable for any damages or viruses that may infect your computer or other property damages caused by your access to this web site or your downloading of any materials from this web site.

Every attempt has been made to accurately represent the colours of the products sold at Classicstationers.com. Note that each monitor will display colour images differently based on a variety of factors. Please use the images presented only as a guide.

The information and materials contained in this site (including without limitation text, graphics and links) are provided on an "as is" basis with no warranty and in particular, we do not represent or warrant that the information accessible via this site is accurate, complete or current or that the use of this site will be uninterrupted or error free.

Returns & Replacements

We want you to be satisfied with the products you buy from us. If you find a problem with your order please email or call for exchange or return information. For proper credit, items should be well packed to avoid damage during return shipment. Please enclose a copy of your invoice, briefly explain the reason for the return and indicate if you would like a replacement, exchange or refund.

Please note:

  • Returns must be in their original condition. Amounts for any damaged items will be deducted from the refund.
  • Sale (clearance) items and personalized stationery are not returnable for exchange or refund.
  • Shipping charges are non-refundable and return shipping is the responsibility of the customer.
  • No restocking fees will be charged.
  • Returns must be made within 30 days of receipt.

Ordering

You can place an order on-line by adding items to your cart. On our home page is a list of product categories (such as Greeting Cards and Fine Press Books). Pick one and you'll see a selection of specific product types (like Thank You Cards, Floral Cards and the like). Click on one of these to find an array of product images. To learn more about a product, click on its image. You will find a complete description as well as a list of other products that complement it. If you want to purchase a product select the quantity of the product you desire and then click on “Add to Cart.” We will guide you from there. When you are ready with your purchase you can proceed to checkout by clicking “Check out” button. During the checkout process you choose the shipping method, the shipping rate as well as payment options will be presented. A confirmation page will provide an invoice number. You may choose to print this for your records. An email version of this confirmation will be sent promptly.

The receipt of an order confirmation email by Classicstationers.com does not constitute acceptance of an order. Classicstationers.com reserves the right to reject orders or limit the quantities on any order. It is possible that verification of customer information may be required prior to acceptance and fulfillment of an order. Classicstationers.com reserves the right to accept business or reject business from any individual, business or organization. If your order is accepted you agree to pay the full price, including shipping (if applicable) and sales tax (if applicable) shown on the checkout page.

Payment, Pricing & Taxes

We accept payments made by Visa, MasterCard and American Express, all processed through secure environment provided by Authorize.net. Your credit card will be charged when the order enters our system.

We also accept certified checks, bank wires and money orders. To place orders with certified check, bank wire or money order, email Customer Service or call us at 1-250-388-9541 Monday 12am-5pm, Tuesday - Friday, 10am - 5pm PST for instructions. Processing of the order will only begin after payment is received.

All products advertised for sale on the site are subject to availability. If we fail to supply any products for any reason, we will not charge you for such products. However, we will not be responsible for compensating you for any other losses which you may suffer if we fail to supply products.

All prices stated on the site or in any of our estimates, price lists or other sales literature may be altered by us without prior notice to you.

Orders shipped to Canada customers are subject to 12% HST.

Viewing Orders

It’s easy to check the status of your order! Just visit online My Account at Classicstationers.com and sign in with your e-mail and password to get a summary of any orders placed online. You’ll see your order number, the date the order was placed, the status of the order, order total, the shipping method, and package tracking information for items that have shipped.
If you placed your order over the phone or via mail/fax you can check your order status by contacting us at 1-250-388-9541 Monday 12am-5pm, Tuesday - Friday, 10am - 5pm PST or emailing Customer Service

Order status messages include:

  • Pending - We've received your order. If it is showing a pending status you may still have the ability to change or cancel the order
  • Processing - Your items have already been prepared for shipment and cannot be changed. We’ll send you an email when your order has shipped.
  • Shipped - We have shipped your order using the shipping method you selected. You can track your shipment online from My Orders.

As soon as your order has shipped, we’ll send you a Shipment Notification email that includes the carrier’s name and a tracking number, if available. You can also view this information by signing in to online My Orders. If you ordered multiple items, you may receive separate shipments emails and tracking numbers.
Click the tracking number to view the status of your package on the carrier’s website. Tracking information may not be immediately available. Some carriers may not provide tracking information.

An invoice will be sent to you via e-mail after your order has completely shipped.
